Job Description

We are on the lookout for an empathetic and driven Business Development Manager to extend our reach in the Southern territory. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about environmental conservation and looking for an opportunity to make a tangible difference through their work.

Competitive Salary between £40- £45k depending on experience

The role comes with a company car and in addition there is a Sales Incentive Performance Bonus. 

Key Responsibilities:
● Drive sales and business growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities for boxed products and system sales.
● Foster enduring relationships with clients across various sectors, offering standard products and bespoke water purification solutions.
● Collaborate closely with our design and proposals teams to meet client needs effectively.
● Engage in product demonstrations, attend exhibitions, and provide market feedback to support our innovation efforts.
● Embrace our ethos of sustainability, working towards our collective mission of ecological transformation.
● Contribute to continuous improvement through interpreting customer feedback and proactively suggesting product improvements or gaps in the market.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:
● Demonstrable engineering or technical experience, ideally in water treatment or a related field.
● Proficiency in word processing and computing skills.
● Outstanding communication skills and problem-solving aptitude.
● A valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
● Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills:
● Direct experience with water treatment equipment and technologies.
● Proven sales experience and the ability to develop trusting relationships with customers.
● Proficiency in using CRM software, to manage customer interactions and sales processes efficiently.
● Experience in the healthcare and or laboratory market, with an understanding of the specific needs and challenges in these sectors.
