Job Description

Generic Level Definition:

An accomplished professional who has gained or is in the process of acquiring the confidence to implement and execute engineering designs, and possess the ability to solve on-the-job problems with minimal to moderate guidance. Conducting activities with a broad application of principles, theories, and concepts pertinent to the relevant discipline.

 

Responsibilities:

Must-Have Requirements

· 
Able to draft  "As-Built" drawings using AutoCAD software 

· 
Able to prepare Civil/Equipment/Piping/(non-process  and process lines)/Cable tray/Pipe supports  in 3D Model based on Engineering documents like PID/Equipment & Instruments Cut sheets /Valves & Piping List etc., using 3D Modeling Software's like Plant 3D, E3D, Open Plant etc.

Able to Prepare Structural & Pipe Stress Analysis package including weight datasheet

· 
Proficient in developing material requisitions , Review supplier technical offers and prepare techno commercial bid evaluation tabs.

Good To Have Requirements

· 
Able to draft Equipment/Foundation Layout using AutoCAD software 

· 
Able to prepare Civil/Equipment/Piping(non-process and process lines) in 3D Model based on Basic Engineering documents using 3D Modeling Software's like Plant 3D, PDMS, E3D, Open Plant, Revit etc.

· 
Able to Perform Pipe support span length calculation and review 3D Model. Performing stress analysis with simple load cases & combinations, Pipe Support Selection 

· 
Proficient in conducting  3D model reviews from concept to completion 

· 
Knowledge on ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code /B 31.1 Power Piping Code

· 
Aware of interdisciplinary activities and support for various other disciplines during the project

Qualifications

Diploma/Engineering Degree – Mechanical / Experience in Mechanical Engineering

Maximum 3-7 years’ Experience of mechanical design in Water, Power, O&G or related Industry.
