To reinforce our activities in Korea, we are now looking for a VIE Productivity/Project Buyer for 14 months.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Define and implement technical, resourcing, material productivities in line with budget requirements, together with the segment organization
Support the commodity organization in the Business Group Segment Leader, and Regional Segment Leader to achieve negotiation objectives
Build up site budget together with Site Purchasing Manager
Reporting
Build up project supplier target panel from pre Sourcing Committee with commodity organisation for all the regions
Voice of segment strategy in the project, and voice of the project to the segments
Others responsabilities :
For global platforms assembled in multiple plants of Valeo, coordinate with other project buyers to ensure project will meet from standard Operation procedure with:
commodity strategy requirement in every region,
localisation in line with needs of receiving plant,
global leverage and securitization of the supply base for the platform
Liaise with purchasing Non Production organisation to achieve project investments and tooling targets
Manages achievement of all project milestones related to suppliers
Defines and controls communication flows and contents between project teams and suppliers
Warrants utilisation of Group project purchasing and suppliers quality tools and information systems
If required, supports R&D with prototypes and pre-serial sourcing commercial negotiations (physical management of parts supply not under purchasing scope)
Ensure capacities for all components are covered for his project, in liaison with the commodity organisation
Depending on your personal involvement you could participate on other tasks and develop yours skills.
The mission will be during 14 months (2 months in Spain
- Zaragosse and 12 months in Korea
- Changwon)
Welcomed skills:
- Master in Purchasing or business degree completed by Purchasing cursus
- 2 to 5 years experience within purchasing function as Productivity buyer and/or Project Buyer
- Experience in industrial sector is an asset
Languages :
- English : full professional proficiency
- French is an asset
- Korean could be a real added value
