Valeo is made up of four Business Groups and an aftermarket activity, Valeo Service.
Valeo Service supplies original equipment spares to automakers and replacement parts to the independent aftermarket. It offers a wide range of products and services for all aftermarket activities worldwide.
Mission:
The Procurement and S&OP team is centralized in Valeo Service and manages procurement from Valeo plants and external suppliers, inventory and forecasts for the 9 Valeo Service divisions.
Valeo Supply-chain is considered worldwide for the solidity of processes (Constant Kaizen, QRQC and PDCA FTA methodology, etc...) and often defined as one of the best school for a Supply-Chain carrier.
In a multicultural and international environment (15 nationalities within the department), the main missions are:
SERVICE – STOCK
- COST:
Ensure the service level to Valeo Service divisions and customers (through 9 warehouses) with optimized inventory at optimal cost level.
SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT:
Manage a portfolio of suppliers, through SAP MRP and EDI, maximizing service rate and optimizing the stock targets using VMI process, visits and participation to plant S&OP and production planning (Capacity impact).
Follow-up of the transport with our Physical flow team.
CUSTOMER FOCUS:
Ensure alignment with customers’ requirements & expectations: develop Supply chain contacts with key accounts in divisions, ensure performance monitoring, develop collaborative action plans, anticipate short to long term challenges (seasonal effect, promotions, new customer inductions).
TRANSVERSAL APPROACH: Collaborate with Purchasing department (for external suppliers), with Marketing for range launches and life cycle follow-up, with Warehouses and Physical flow team, etc…
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Take part to continuous improvement missions to increase long-term performance of VS Supply Chain.
Your Profile:
From an Engineering or Business school with a real Supply-Chain specialization
If possible past experience in Supply-Chain (1-3 years)
Fluent English & Polish mandatory
Positive and international mindset
Atypical experiences are welcome
Improvement oriented
ERP and Office management (SAP / EXCEL / ACCESS and potentially R, SAS).
Coding skills or mindset is a real plus (SQL, R, Python)
