TECHNICAL ANALYST / DATA ANALYST / REPORTING ANALYST

Hertfordshire / Hemel Hempstead / St. Albans / Watford / Luton / Buckinghamshire

This is a great opportunity for a Technical Analyst to work for our Hertfordshire based client.

The Responsibilities of the Technical Analyst will be:

-Gathering and analysing data from all levels of the business in multiple departments
-Develop and implement complex reports/dashboards to drive intelligence and facilitate decision making both internally and with clients
-Manipulating and extracting large sets of data from multiple data sources
-Working closely with the Supply Team to develop, improve and report on key performance indicators both internally and externally (automated dynamic scripted emails and dashboards)
-Work with the current team to implement and develop a new standardised reporting system across all departments using multiple data sources and extraction techniques
-General exploratory analysis/ad-hoc reporting, providing technical support across the business

The Technical Analyst will ideally have:

-Degree in a numerical or scientific subject
-Knowledge of relational databases and data structures
-Strong SQL knowledge
-Strong Microsoft Excel / VBA knowledge
-Strong Microsoft Access Skills
-Experience in HTML / CSS scripting
-Experience with COGNOS desirable

The rate of pay is £30000 - £40000 per annum dependent on experience
