Recruitment has opened for a 6-month full-time paid Internship role with C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group. The successful intern is expected to start in August 2015.

C40 offers cities an effective forum where they can collaborate, share knowledge and drive meaningful, measurable and sustainable action on climate change.
The Role
C40 is offering interested graduates/undergraduates the opportunity to work in our Research Measurement and Planning team to undertake research and analysis on a range of climate related activities. Working a 40-hour week, the successful intern will review and assess C40 cities’ Climate Action Plans (CAP) against internationally agreed frameworks including the Compact of Mayors, develop a CAP database for the cities in our network and conduct analysis to identify best practices and insight to share amongst C40 staff and cities.
The Candidate
Candidates must:
•Be a graduate/undergraduate in a relevant field
•Have excellent written and oral communication skills
•Have research and analysis skills
•Be able to work independently
•Have the ability to do presentations
•Knowledge of environment/climate issues and players would be a plus.
Benefits
The successful intern will receive compensation of £9.15 per hour .
