Deliverables:
• IBM Mainframe HW-Engineering & Configuration
• Responsible for planning, installation, configuration and maintenance of z/OS HW and all related peripherals
• Responsible for the realization of technical z/OS HW-related projects
• Responsible for problem management and problem determination of HW-related components and products
• 7x24x365 3rd Level Engineering Support

Experience and background required:
• Expert skills in z/OS operating systems architecture, design & implementation.
• At least 3-5 years of working experience in the area of z/OS mainframe area.
• Able to work close together with external vendors
• Self-motivated technical oriented person to serve and support the customer
• Project Management skills
• Able to work within projects and willing to lead technical projects
• On Call / Weekend Work
• Willing to cover 7x24x365 On-Call 3rd Level Engineering Support and to work sporadically on Weekends

Special Skills required:
• Expert skills in z/OS, TSO/ISPF and the Microsoft Office Palette is essential
• Skills in the area of REXX and Assembler programming are welcome, but not a must.
• Team Player, initiative and customer oriented thinking, must perform independently, self-starter
• Good German and English knowledge is mandatory
• Skills in z/OS Hardware peripherals (DASD, VTS, Ficon Directors) is desirable
