The US Legal Competence Center is a small team of specialized lawyers based in Zurich, which forms part of the larger Legal Wealth Management International Markets. The US Legal Competence Centers covers US legal and regulatory topics for UBS Wealth Management and Personal & Corporate Banking on a global basis and provides legal coverage for UBS SFA, which is a Zurich based UBS subsidiary licensed in Switzerland as a securities dealer and in the US as an investment advisor.

Desired profile

Your experience and skills

You have:
- a US degree in law and admittance to the bar or degree in law / admittance to the bar in another jurisdiction, complemented by education in US financial services law
- practical experience in international banking or in an international law firm focusing on banking topics (ideally in wealth management and US securities law)
- interest in complex, international legal and regulatory issues
- ability to manage multiple internal and external interfaces
- ability to efficiently cooperate with and manage external legal counsels
 interest in designing and giving training to front staff
- very strong analytical skills

You are:
- solution and target-orientated and analytical while staying client-orientated
 highly articulate, excellent in interpersonal interactions, able to influence and persuade
- open, honest and willing to challenge, always striving for excellence
 fluent in English (additional Languages, such as Geman, are an additional asset)
