IT Software Engineer – Client Relationship Management(CRM)

Your role

An experienced software engineer with a proven track record and strong business and data analysis skills is required to work within Client & Sales Management Technology. The program develops technology for Sales and Research technology to support Client Relationship Management (CRM), Analytics and Revenue Reporting.

Delivering across the breadth of the Investment Bank, our technology team provides the solutions for our UBS professionals to find the information and people they need to collaborate with to manage their client relationships; revenue targets; and service propositions.

Responsibilities:
oPartnering with business analysts, stakeholders and IT developers to deliver technology solutions that meet the business' needs:
-Understanding the business case for change and success factors
-Designing and implementing technically excellent solutions
-Delivering presentations to business, management and developers
oDelivering on an agreed technology strategy:
-Committed to design, build, test and deliver enterprise-level and high quality technology solutions
-Working with business to understand and analyse requirements
-Ensuring execution of tasks within agile framework and provide regular demos of progress
-Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and external teams, across infrastructure, development, support and business areas to co-ordinate change
-Identifying, mitigating, and communicating all aspects of project risk
-Tracking and reporting on progress towards goals
oOwning technology solutions:
-Ensuring first-class operational support for the solutions developed
-Ensure solution documentation is up to date and effective

Requirements
•Extensive experience of data warehouse modelling, development and implementation to meet both Operational and Business Intelligence requirements, with proven track record in delivery of Business Intelligence solutions, ideally with experience of Business Objects.
•Highly experienced in Oracle, PL/SQL and Unix shell scripting with knowledge of Java, Sybase & Big Data technologies
•Investment Banking knowledge and experience of implementing CRM solutions within the Equities and Fixed Income, Rates and Credit Sales business
•Experience of working closely with business analysts to understand business requirements and deliver within an agile development framework with regular business prototyping and demos.
•Excellent communication, problem analysis and risk management skills
•Experience working across multiple teams and functions to ensure alignment

Role is based in Weehawken, NJ, very commutable from New York City
