The team 'Business Analysis' is responsible among other things for the clearing and settlement as well as the position keeping process of securities and the related applications. To support the maintenance, future development and partially testing of the mentioned applications, we are looking for a Business Analyst.
As a Business Analyst you will be engaged with finding solutions to business problems of the banking industry, the analysis of current processes and functionalities as well as with the generation of new business specifications. During the development phases you will work closely together with your colleagues of the application development department. Test-cases will be mainly generated and executed by the dedicated test-team, based on the acceptance criteria you have been defined.

Role Description:
Will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Understands the requirements and concerns of the various stakeholders
• Requests, challenges and describes business requirements of the involved stakeholders
• Evaluates requirements in terms of feasibility and efforts (costs)
• Generates business specifications including approval criteria
• Support of the testing units or at the development of test cases.
• Support the project manager in BA related topics

Mandatory Skills:
• Several years of experience as Business Analyst
• General knowledge related to securities
• Banking skills related to the securities services business are necessary: Good knowledge of clearing / settlement / registered shares processes / position keeping process
• SWIFT skills mainly related to securities transactions and statements (MT5xx / ISO20022)
• Independent, systematic and structured approach and way of working (e.g. Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, UML)
• Process-oriented as well as business process know how
• Initiative acting and dedicated commitment as well as excellent organizational and analytical skills
• High awareness of quality and deadlines
• Keen perception

Nice to have Skills:
• Knowledge of UBS (UC / RS)

• Flexibility to handle changes to already defined of requirements
• Team spirit and dependability
• Communicative
• Capable to constructive conflict resolution
• Able to work under pressure
