Job Summary
The role is that of a business analyst in the GDS App Delivery team, responsibilities will include working with internal customers (mainly Operations) to collate and document business requirements, collaborate with the IT platform teams to conduct analysis and propose a solution, and then support the delivery teams during the build and test phase.

Description of team
The Reference Data team is part of the Finance Risk and Data Services function within Group Technology in UBS and is dedicated to providing data that is a critical enabler to the various businesses and logistics functions across the Bank, providing a central source of high quality reference data (including Client, Account, SSI, Instrument, Legal Entity, Trading Agreement, Pricing, Book, Product and Calendar) to those functions within the UBS Group.

Responsibilities
• Document functional and non-functional business requirements and ensure that all requirements are maintained accurately.
• Delivery and Release Management - accurately document UAT test case scenarios and detailed test cases and be involved in pre and post go-live activities and end user training where required.
• Facilitate and contribute to project workshops and participate in one-to-one meetings to enable the clarification of business requirements.
• Applicant will be proactive in highlighting issues and risks, and recommending solutions or mitigating actions as appropriate.

Requirements
• Solid Business Analysis experience.
• Strong Experience and knowledge of SDLC life cycle.
• Strong analytical skills, proven track record with business requirements analysis and specification writing for projects within the financial industry.
• Aware of reference data principles and supporting data governance and quality measures and demonstrable experience in applying these.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work as part of a global team.
