Junior Analyst in Japan EQ Research

Job Description:
Role Purpose:
Analysts seek to develop and communicate insights regarding the value, risk, and volatility of a covered asset class and thus assist investors to decide what action or investable ideas are determined to be in the best interest of the client. This also includes educating the client by the creation of innovative reports, meetings and presentations. Analysts will form investment cases, maintain financial models, and support their opinions by providing reports for their audience and written documents internally to support their recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide investment recommendations based on modeling, valuation and risk assessments.
- Conduct financial statement analysis and build and maintain financial models to evaluate historical information and
generate projections
- Convert industry knowledge into investment opinions.
- Analyze data to assess and describe current and long term trends.
- Remain current on market developments to help frame investment strategies.
- Conduct valuation analysis within an industry, sector, or asset class.
- Communicate with internal and external clients, as appropriate, to convey investment recommendations and ideas.
- Prepare and publish research.

Key Deliverables
- Provide information to clients on covered instrument/asset classes (stocks, bonds, derivatives, etc.).
- Provide valuation estimates or opinions

Requirements:
Related industry experience
Advanced-level business Japanese/English
JSDA Qualification
Bachelors degree or international equivalent is essential
Local regulatory requirements need to be met.
Strictly abide by the Compliance.
