The FX Prime Brokerage offering gives clients access to a broad FX liquidity pool and provides operational efficiency through flexible straight-through processing, central collateral management and consolidated re-porting. The business is integrated into the global FRC C&ES organization. The FX Prime Brokerage team is now seeking a Sales and Marketing person to join the existing European team based in London.
You will be responsible for actively marketing to a range of clients within the FX Prime Brokerage space, with a significant focus on hedge funds.
The FXPB Sales is primarily responsible for:
• Marketing presentations and sales pitches for FX Prime Brokerage and FX Clearing
• Acquisition of new clients. This includes pricing negotiations in consultation with Prime Services Risk, ne-gotiations of contract terms, handover to FX Prime Brokerage Service Team for implementation
• Strategic coverage of existing FX Prime Brokerage clients: Initialization and negotiation of adjustments to contract terms in consultation with Legal department, adjustment to margin and pricing terms
• Identification of client requirements for FX Prime Brokerage services
• Coordination between external clients and internal departments (Legal, Credit, Documentation, Collateral Management, Treasury)
Additional responsibilities include:
• Contribution to definition of growth strategy and strategic business initiatives
• Identification of new clients in consultation with other stakeholders in FX Distribution, Global Financing Services and UBS Wealth Management
• Participation in external client and industry events
• Coordination and cooperation with external dealing platforms for the acquisition of new clients
• Participation in global projects to improve the quality of the FX Prime Brokerage service
The successful candidate must:
• have proven experience in a client facing role
• have proven experience in FX and/or Prime Brokerage, with a preference for FX experience
• Solid understanding of Foreign Exchange products and market segments
• 'Commercial sense' to successfully align client requirements with internal boundary conditions
• be a strong communicator with good presentation and negotiation skills
Ideally, you will also have:
• Experience working with Hedge Fund clients
• Self-directed, systematic and solution oriented
• Excellent organisational skills
• Willingness to travel
