Description

As a Corporate Actions & Income Processing Analyst you will be responsible for ownership and maintenance of your own Corporate Actions diary to ensure coverage of the 4 key areas in an event lifecycle: Event Capture – Notification – Instruction – Processing. This will be across all markets. You will need to build and manage relationships with Zurich-based Custodian, other Operational teams, Query Management, Risk, Reconciliations, and Local Risk Representatives. You will be reporting directly to the Team Lead of Corporate Actions & Income.

The role will be located in the UBS office in Wrocław.

Responsibilities:
• Processing UK, Foreign and Fund Income Distributions, this will include Accumulations, and Re-investments
• Ensuring that events are received, and key dates are diarised in our internal system. All MT564/568/566 messages are captured from our Global Custodian and/or SSN's issued by the LSE/EDI, and ensuring that these are scrubbed against a second source
• Composing notifications to Client Advisors for mandatory events, ensuring all key data/options are captured
• Ensuring that all entitlements for Income/Corporate actions are captured and processed accurately and in a timely manner and within internal SLA's
• Clearing cash and stock breaks

Requirements:
• Experience of CREST and Dividend Claims processing an advantage
• Experience of banking industry, preferably within a Wealth Management environment
• Experience of ISO 15022 SWIFT messaging and CREST and Claims processing advantageous
• Strong end user of common IT applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Very good written and spoken English
• Ability to set and work to own targets independently
• Using judgement to make appropriate decisions and to escalate as appropriate
• Analytical thinking and problem solving abilities
• A strong focus towards accuracy and risk mitigation, paying particular attention to detail and ensuring the best possible client experience

Additional assets:
• Knowledge of income processing and tax reporting across various markets would be beneficial
• Ability to work within a close knit team and be able to share workload
