Your role

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Client Advisor for Greater China Markets that is ready to join us in Zurich, Switzerland:

Client Advisor HNWI/UHNWI
You will be responsible for the maintenance and development of long/term client relationships in the high net-worth individual (HNWI) / Ultra high net-worth individual (UHNWI) segment and have a large existing network of promising contacts in the Greater China market (focus on UHNWI/HNWI Taiwan and Hong Kong). You will exploit this strong acquisition potential in an efficient and sustainable manner. Thanks to your in-depth knowledge of the market, your experience in coordinating work with colleagues from different businesses such as Investment Banking and Asset Management, and your thorough understanding of the local regulatory environment, you will be able to generate significant value for both our clients and UBS. You will be supported in your task by a first-class infrastructure and innovative products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
Implement a clear strategy for developing client base, Net New Money and long term relationships.
Provide extensive knowledge of your target market and develop strong networks with opinion leaders and door openers.
Provide high quality strategic investment advice (incl. One Bank and Multi-booking).
Ensure that all required prospect/client information is available.
Retain the responsibility for the client relationship development with a main focus on strategic advice.
Keep the responsibility to deliver the UBS Client Experience and ask for client feedback.
Work in close collaboration with the relevant teams by applying clients' needs in order to jointly develop an appropriate investment strategy.
Take the responsibility for all prospect/client relationships to meet all legal and regulatory requirements, UBS guidelines and policies.
Leverage the entire bank and proactively promote multi-shoring services, the Investment Bank and Asset Management offering.
Involve specialists of other divisions and share Best Practices with other RMs, and CAs.

Requirements:
You will have a good chance of success if you are a client and sales oriented person with the following key attributes:
• Proven track record in acquisition and sales
• Concrete and large acquisition potential
• In-depth knowledge of the Greater China market(s) and its regulatory frameworks
• Knowledge of banking products and services, particularly in the area of Wealth Management, but also in Investment Banking and Asset Management
• Familiarity with processes and procedures in a financial institution
• Stamina and determination to produce results
• Well structured/organised and diligent approach to work
• Proficiency in English and Chinese is a must (both oral and in writing)
