A Client Advisor is responsible for acquiring and building excellent new client relationships. They will develop prospects directly or via established networks by leveraging the UBS brand. They create individual Wealth Management relationships based on an understanding of client needs both initially and on an ongoing basis and then applies innovative solutions to meet the client needs, using the worldwide UBS resources and open architecture investment platform, working closely with Product and Financial Planning specialists.
Wealth Management provides comprehensive financial services to wealthy private clients around the world. Its clients benefit from the entire spectrum of UBS resources, ranging from investment management to estate planning and corporate finance advice, in addition to specific wealth management products and services.
You will work closely with Product and Marketing specialists, in addition to other Client Advisor's and involve them in promoting new investment ideas and developing client relationships and solutions.
Responsibilities:
•You will be charged with targeting prospects, by establishing contact with potential intermediaries and business introducers. Additionally you will participate in social and networking events, and subsequently close deals.
•You will create relationships based on a wide network of social and business contacts as well as a thorough the understanding of client needs. You will study these changing client needs, both individually and by segment, in addition to market trends/developments.
•You will work collaboratively with the Manchester team and Product Specialists.
Requirements:
• A proven background in Wealth Management, including managing client portfolios, and proven product knowledge across all asset classes
• A willingness and ability to develop a network of both prospective clients and professional intermediaries in the region and ideally with a track record to demonstrate this skill in career to date
• An organised and disciplined approach, used to meeting deadlines and working in a target-oriented environment
• Ability to proactively review existing portfolios and initiate ideas to maximise investment strategies for clients
• Keen interest in financial and investment markets
• Ideally an MBA or Graduate with a Degree (or equivalent) in a Financial, Management or Economics discipline and hold or be working towards a minimum of RDR level 6 qualification
