Summary
UBS is seeking a Business Analyst in London who will be responsible for reviewing business requirements, designing the functional specification and supporting the IT implementation.
The increase in Regulatory demand (Basel 3) and internal projects drive the new business requirements. Global role working across multiple business functions within UBS.
Introduction to the team
The Merival Global Capital and Regulatory team is part of the Global Finance IT function and is dedicated Global Technology within the UBS Group.
The responsibilities of the role include:
• Deliver solutions for business requirements relating to regulatory reporting and capital calculations.
• Design functional specifications and implement IT changes within the Finance general ledger for compliant capital and Riskweighted asset calculations.
• Working with global team to co-ordinate and manage project or workstream deliverables
• Offering support to both colleagues and aligned business functions
Requirements
• Experience working across multiple teams and functions to ensure alignment
• Ability to adapt quickly to new processes and conduct proactive analysis
• Financial product knowledge and experience of Finance general ledger systems
• Experience/ Knowledge of capital requirements and riskweighted asset calculations
• Strong communication skills
