Your team

Our Alternative Investments group sits within Capital Markets and the broader Wealth Management Americas organization. Our AI team provides WMA Advisors with products that can help diversify client portfolios. The AI business includes four groups: due diligence, product development, finance and sales. In sales, you will interact with financial advisors and AI fund partners on a daily basis. The sales team is further broken down by an internal sales desk and external consultants. All internals are aligned with an external consultant to cover one or two regions in the US.

Desired profile

Your experience and skills

You have:
• Bachelors degree
• Minimum of 3-5 years of prior experience in Alternative Investments or a comparable role
• A deep understanding of the Alternative Investments business and products (hedge funds, private equity, private real estate and managed futures)
• Basic understanding of the structure and terms of private equity / real estate and hedge funds
• Sales skills from both financial advisor and client perspectives
• A Series 7 and 66 licenses or able to pass exams within a specified period of time.

You are:
• Able to speak confidently and competently about the macro environment, markets and current developments in the alternatives space
• Proactive and detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with fast paced inbound/outbound calls and advisor requests
• Highly motivated, able to work independently, and apply own initiative
• Able to meet quick deadlines and manage a high volume of field requests
• A person with high energy and level of commitment
• Comfortable with phone interactions and giving presentations
• Have a strong work ethic and flexibility to shift gears and work on ad hoc projects
