Group Technology is responsible for sourcing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting world-class technology solutions. We are a global organization with multiple streams that align with each of the key functional areas to ensure that our solutions meet business needs. Our professionals are engaged as business consultants, technical architects, systems integrators, application/support analysts, developers, and project managers.
Application Developer: As an Application Developer you will have the opportunity to work closely with the business to provide real business solutions. Your responsibilities also will include understanding business flows and taking them to the next level of automation. Depending on the business function, you could be working on everything from applications that provide new and innovative services to our clients to developing proprietary-trading strategies designed by our Quant teams and traders.
Skills:
- Computer Science or Computer Engineering-related education background and proficient in at least one programming language (Java, C# or C++)
- Proactive personality and a genuine interest in developing a career in the field of IT and Application Development
- Prior banking experience or knowledge will be an asset but not requiredInfrastructure Analyst: As an Infrastructure Analyst, you will be working with our top technologists and business leaders to design and deploy critical IT systems and infrastructure. By working with business managers to identify the system requirements, you will broaden the scope of our projects to address more strategic goals. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with local, regional and global functional teams to understand real business requirements and create solutions that will help to differentiate UBS in the market.
Skills:
- Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Business Computing/Engineering-related education background from a leading university
- Sound knowledge of banking and IT
- Your extracurricular activities, internships and academic projects indicate a history of outstanding performance
- You demonstrate the exceptional communication skills necessary to interact directly with senior managers and clients
- Your passion and initiative allow you to the ability to work in a high pressure and fast paced environment
- Your good judgment and strong reasoning and analytical skills allow you to quickly access situations and provide applicable solutionsEUSD Analyst: As End User Service Desk (EUSD) Analysts, we standardize enterprise support functions used across UBS Group Technology. We also aim to provide a simple and user friendly communication channel for all end user issues and enhance production monitoring, issue tracking, and problem resolution while leveraging the existing Level 1 Utility and Enterprise System Management (ESM) capabilities. As a member of this team, you can benefit from working in a global function while getting hands-on experience with new technologies. In addition, you will develop communication and analytical skills while working in an energetic and highly motivated team. The position provides excellent opportunities to expand, both in terms of knowledge and job role.
Business Analyst: Our Business Analysts work on business-related functions including banking, organizational, client relationship management, finance, operations and/or other processes and procedures, and develop proposals for change or enhancement. Key responsibilities include information gathering activities such as surveying, analyzing and evaluating processes, products and services through the use of a variety of internal and/or external data sources, determining the required solutions and assisting in implementation. In addition, you might be involved in mapping current and future processes and working on other business requirement documents while supporting project management tasks in the area of quality control and project management.
