Our business area Investment Products and Services (IPS) provides our client advisors globally with high quality products and services. As part of IPS, Investment Management (IM) is committed to the development and delivery of discretionary portfolio solutions to match our client's needs and investment objectives.
The objective of the IPS IM Content Management team is to identify, analyze and recommend fund managers for inclusion in the global fund offering for advisory and discretionary. Following approval, the funds are monitored to verify that they adhere to their mandates and processes.
The role of Content Management Hedge Funds (CM HF) is to manage the $11 bio discretionary allocation to single manager hedge funds and to work with the Advisory team in managing the $6 bio single manager hedge fund offering for Advisory Clients.
As an intern you would support a 3 person, experienced team of hedge fund allocators. You would get exposed to portfolio management, manager research and monitoring. In addition, you will have the opportunity to attend hedge fund manager meetings and gain insights into some of the most sophisticated investment techniques used today. Using your strong finance skills, you will have the opportunity to learn about the various strategies used by hedge fund managers. In addition to the above, responsibilities would include managing data base systems and updating PowerPoint presentations.
Candidate should be interested in funds and portfolio management.
Desired profile
• At least 4 semesters completed at a University or University of applied Sciences preferably in Economics, Finance / Accounting, Business Administration or Sciences
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. German is a plus
• Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
