Our Graduate Training Program (GTP) lasts from 18 months. You'll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with gifted professionals and gaining first-hand experience of how the business works. As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll receive an intensive education on the financial markets, UBS products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are an essential part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a fuller knowledge of the business. Beside all that, you'll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you'll get to know people from across UBS.
In order to strengthen our Funds Execution team in Zurich, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Graduate who is interested in becoming a
Funds Execution Specialist
We are the global hub for Funds worldwide and we are responsible for the execution of all fund orders within UBS Group. With satellites in Singapore and Luxembourg we provide best execution services towards our clients, covering almost all time zones, ensuring timely and adequate execution of Fund orders, and meeting our clients’ high standards.
You will deliver highest level of quality services to Wealth Management clients, 3rd Party Banks, Financial Intermediaries, Family Offices and 3rd Party Asset Managers.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Trade Allocation; matching pending client orders with market side contract notes and booking transactions into all downstream systems
- Reconciliation with our main provider, adjusting pending orders for corporate action events
- Exception handling of market side swift inbound (trade allocations) e.g. non matching of order to trade allocation (i.e. different Size, Trade Date, Value Date, commission, partial redemption withholding, sidepockets, capital calls)
- Chasing of overdue orders with counterparties / fund providers
- Enhance chasing database with trade cycle information
- Distribution of fax based related order rejects, contract notes, recon statements, corporate action advices, shareholder information letter
- Booking of NAV Update into Financial Instrument System
- Will be cross trained in market side execution (Mutual funds and Hedge funds)

Additionally, you should fulfill the following requirements:
• Master or Bachelor degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance or Economics
• Independent, attentive to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure
• Responsible and conscious of risks, taking complete ownership tasks
• Proactive, adaptable, with a solution oriented way of thinking
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Fluent in English and German
• A customer oriented personality
