Job Description
As a Market Intelligence Manager , you will play a key role in shaping our strategic vision by providing in-depth market insights and forecasts. You will be responsible for consolidating and analyzing industry data, building reliable models, and delivering impactful recommendations to guide decision-making at all levels of the company. Acting as both an expert analyst and a trusted partner, you will collaborate across teams to translate complex data into clear, actionable strategies that drive our games’ success.
What you will be doing
Market Forecasting & Analysis
• Act as company expert on industry sales and player activity data across global regions. Consolidate, validate and report on competition data.
• Build market and title forecasts.
• Identify key trends and deliver impactful insights that inform strategic decisions. Conduct ad-hoc market-level analysis such as game potentials, promotional strategies, platform digitalization, release strategies or content offerings.
• Confidently present high-quality insights and recommendations to senior management.
Data Integration & Reporting
• Ensure integration of data sources from panels (GSD, Media Create…) and third-party suppliers (Newzoo, M Science, Ampere, VGI…) and build data models with our tools to create a global market dataset (SQL, Snowflake). Be a main point of contact for data completion topics.
• Establish data quality processes to ensure reliability and accuracy of extrapolation methodology and collaborate with Ubisoft Data Office team on execution.
• Define and maintain dashboards related to the video game market. Build intuitive dashboards and automated reports in Power BI to empower teams with on-demand insights.
• Leverage data visualization and storytelling to translate complex datasets into clear, compelling insights for cross-functional teams.
Transversal Support
• Partner closely with Publishing but also HQ or Production teams to support sales objectives and provide ad hoc market intelligence reporting and analysis.
• Support Studios and subsidiaries with targeted analyses.
• Effortlessly move between analyst and support role.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required. MBA a plus.
• A strong experience in analytical, financial or sales roles required.
• Knowledge of video game industry required, especially Consoles & PC markets.
• Strong SQL, Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint skills required. Familiarity with Tableau a plus.
• Comfortable handling large volumes of data and working in analytical environments.
• Solid organizational, writing, and verbal skills.
• Ability to work in high-pressure, time-constrained situations.
• English required.
