Job description



As a Live Producer at Massive, your overall objective will be to optimize the performance of our live game.

You’ll be accountable for the quality of the live experience once the game is in the hands of the player, pre and post-launch. Overseeing live teams (player services, business operations, game analytics, tech-ops and web) to continuously improve the quality of service and execute new initiatives, while managing the cost of operations and live P&L. Reporting to the senior Game Producer, you’ll also collaborate with production teams, internal and external service providers (IT, Marketing, Business, 3rd party operators, 1st parties, etc.) with a DevOps mentality, to ensure the development, availability and quality of the connected experience for the player.

Responsibilities

·  Participating in defining the live strategy; supporting, challenging and articulate it.
·  Defining, monitoring and acting on KPIs to improve player experience and the live performance.
·  Managing the live project P&L, team budgets and operation costs.
·  Continuously reporting on the live game status to Ubisoft stakeholders.
·  Ensuring constant availability and support of the game and its services.
·  Overseeing operations, ensuring all stakeholders are aware, informed and coordinated for operations on the production environment.
·  Overseeing the strategy and technical choices for the infrastructure architecture, to ensure sustainable, flexible and high-quality solutions.
·  Together with stakeholders in the team, establishing a clear strategy for live content and content roadmap, aimed at creating a compelling and engaging post launch experience.
·  Participating in defining and managing live events/milestone schedule and release (closed and public Alpha/Beta/Other, Launch and patches, etc.)
·  Overseeing business operations and working with the team to monitor, analyze and optimize performance.
·  Overseeing the collaboration between business operations, our internal Brand, Business and Marketing partners.
·  Overseeing the telemetry design for in-game data, working with the teams to ensure the production and live needs are met.
·  Supervising the creation of reports and specific in depth analysis to ensure insights are delivered to customers according to the priorities dictated by the live game needs.
·  Evaluating the needs of the team in terms of resources and jobs, and ensuring these are met, maintaining a good standard of commitment and team motivation to create a work environment that promotes productivity.
·  Act as a coach to team managers and remove impediments.

Whilst a natural leader, you know how to navigate a flat culture and agile work environment. You’ve the capacity to make important decisions in high stress scenarios, take ownership and maintain an effective team in emergencies. You can both delegate and lead, bringing awareness to online concepts, associated technologies, additional revenue strategies and are knowledgeable in online back-end and infrastructure technology. You’re a problem solver with strong communication skills (in English, our company language). We also expect that you’re aligned with our Massive values .

Besides the above we’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

·  At least 5-years proven work experience in team and project management within a relevant/video game studio.
·  A degree in Management, Administration, a similar field or the equivalent work experience.
·  Multidisciplinary development experience.
·  Experience shipping and operating game titles with connected features and services.
·  Knowledge of Ubisoft structure and departments a plus.
