Job description

Play as a team, Race for excellence and Get creative!  At Ubisoft Ivory Tower, we are driven by these values every day since 2007! Join our team at Ivory Tower to work on a new unannounced project, as CINEMATIC ARTIST  (M/NB/W).

·  Create convincing scenes with cameras highlighting the narrative and gameplay aspects of the game,
·  Set up clear and exciting video editing with a gripping rhythm, 
·  Communicate and work closely with the narrative team to translate scripts into cinematics, as well with the art director to meet the visual requirements of the project,
·  Collaborate with technical teams to integrate all cutscenes into the game using proprietary tools and systems,
·  Knowing how to adapt to production challenges independently by communicating clearly with the teams who revolve around the cutscenes,
·  Collaborate closely with the different artistic teams (lighting, VFX, level art, anim/chara...) to improve the visual quality of cutscenes
·  Collaborate closely with programming teams to improve work tools and processes.
·  Strong artistic sensitivity (cinematographic, video game and cultural references in the broad sense)
·  Experience with game engines (Unreal, Unity, etc.) or 3D software (Blender, Maya, 3Ds Max), particularly in camera manipulation
·  Strong skills in video editing and image composition with associated software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Da Vinci Resolve, After Effects, etc.)
·  Good knowledge of production techniques and film creation process
·  Good understanding of narrative logic and storytelling techniques
·  Excellent communication, ability to adapt, receive and give feedback, as well as team work
·  Good level of English

Would be a plus:

·  Notions of 3D, 2D animation, Motion Design or calibration are a plus
·  Good skills in video post-production and mastery of associated software (After Effects, Fusion, etc.)
