Overview of role:
The Tyler Capital Technology and Research area is responsible for delivering the tools, technology, learning, understanding and innovation for our business. In this role, you will work beside talented colleagues that will help you to grow while you help the wider team. You will be able to experience our culture, and understand our business by way of doing.

Depending on your skill-set – you will be able to work in a wide range of areas – from data analysis & research, development, testing, system administration, etc. We want to work with smart, curious, dedicated people who want to learn and grow and we can offer a breadth of experiences. You will be exposed to real world problems right away and given the opportunity to have an impact.

Key activities/responsibilities:
The key responsibilities will vary depending on your skills and interests, as well as the projects we have running at the time of your arrival.
• You will work with the IT team and will spend time working on some aspect of our software, infrastructure, or automated testing.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:
• A strong interest and background programming in at least one of; C++, Java, or Python
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong written skills
• The ability to work under pressure
• Ideally an understanding of Linux
• An interest in trading and finance
