True AI is a venture backed artificial intelligence startup that automates customer support using machine learning/deep learning. Our product is the result of our own research, building on top of cutting-edge deep learning breakthroughs. The founders are experts management and artificial intelligence, with business backgrounds companies such as McKinsey and Goldman Sachs, and research experience at labs of names such as Amazon and Yoshua Bengio. We have just closed our funding round and are now looking to hire our first smart and strongly motivated people.
We need a Business Development Intern who is passionate about building a future AI company alongside the founders. You will play a key role in developing our business to the next level.

An opportunity for hands-on business development experience, setting up new business practices alongside the founders.
Continuous learning about best business practices as you work alongside the CEO (formerly an employee at world’s leading business advisories, McKinsey and Goldman Sachs).

Significant client exposure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person, via email, and over telephone.
Identify and research potential markets and customers.
Managing incoming leads (website, emails, phone) and maintain CRM.
Create client-ready presentations.
Prepare for and represent True AI at conferences and other events.
Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries.
Conduct marketing and sales analytics and create relevant forecasts.
PRACTICALITIES
London-based or willing to relocate to London.
Legally allowed to work in the UK (UK citizen / necessary work permit / EU citizenship. Unfortunately we cannot sponsor visas at this stage.)
The intern can work full-time or part-time.

Desired profile
MUST HAVE
Excellent English.
Good knowledge of Office programs (esp. presentations and spreadsheets).
Business education or relevant business experience.
Confident speaking with clients in person and on the phone.
Ability to work independently and capable of taking initiative on specific projects.
NICE TO HAVE
Knowledge of Sales/CRM tools (salesforce, Linkedin, etc)
Technical skills
