Organization
For our client ASML, a fast dynamic technical company delivering high value machines for the semi-conductor industry, we are looking for a Competence engineer optics.The sector Manufacturing & Logistics is responsible for the production of wafer steppers and scanners. The complete production process of the most advanced machines takes place within Manufacturing. The Production Engineering department within this sector is responsible for maintenance and optimization of the production processes and procedures  (including the system installation and qualification process at the customer location) and provides support in connection with the organization.

Job Mission
To design, maintain, adapt to changed output requirements and to optimize production processes as well as to develop and apply methods of measuring the performance of the production process. The holder of this position reports to the Group/Project- leader Production Engineering Optics.

• 
  Lays down operating instructions, process flow charts, routings, process parameters an  indicators
  


• Analyses the production process within Test and Install, points out structural problems and bottlenecks, works out suggestions for improvements and initiates their implementation, often in close cooperation with the surrounded departments as Development, Operations, and Customer Support;


• Contributes to the rapid solution of complex faults and takes the necessary initiatives and practical decisions;


• Brings his knowledge to bear on (new) product development projects, in order to foresee production problems in the design phase and in order to improve the reparability of the product and test design.

Education
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Physics

Experience
Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.

• Broad technical and business knowledge;


• Good communication skills;

• Good in structural work;


• Very active, plenty of initiative;


• Focused on quality, continuous improvement;


• Adequate English language skills in speech and writing;


•
