Graduate Software Developer
Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Salary: Up To £28k
Contract: Permanent, Full time

Experience of integrating into Salesforce would be advantageous.
You are a good communicator and enjoy speaking to people at all levels. Be that via email, on the phone or simply by an informal chat.

What type of things will I do?
The team is working on a number of projects including an ordering system that integrates and utilises the Salesforce framework. There is also ongoing development to take our customer Portal forward in order to provide a better experience to our customers, such as providing web chat. Primarily the role will be diverse and you will be expected to think on your feet; whether this is supporting existing applications or making changes to take forward a solution to meet new requirements.
What skills will I learn?
We want your enthusiasm so you can learn and build upon your technical skills. The company Development team use Microsoft SQL databases with .Net front ends. Previous experience of both these, particularly .Net programming is essential.
Specifics:
Key skills required:
• Problem solving, taking ownership of tasks and grasping the bigger picture.
• A good communicator with the ability to turn customer requirements into a functional specification and subsequently into a fully working solution.
• Creative flair with great attention to detail.
• Strong A-Level results and a technical based degree from an established University, preferably a 1st or 2.1.
• Strong front-end development skills using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including JQuery)
• Development skills in C# ASP.NET (Web Forms)
• Experience using version control, preferably GIT
• Good knowledge of databases and SQL, preferably T-SQL
• Excel and other Office based programmes
• Experience of Photoshop, AJAX and ASP.NET MVC would be desirable.
• At least one year experience in a software based role. Consideration will be given to graduates that can demonstrate that they have the aptitude to learn but may lack the industry experience or some of the skills listed above.
