Job Title: Web Developer (ecommerce)

Location: Wembley London

Salary: 22-25k p/a plus commission

Trenmead is long established in the IT Supply and Services business with over 30 years of solid relationships with major brand suppliers of IT hardware and service components. We need a talented web developer for our e-commerce business buying and selling specialist and high end electronic and IT products in UK European and International markets and to develop ecommerce sites for our commercial clients

Qualifications Skills and Experience Requirements:

Graduate in IT/Marketing/Business/Computers Science

Experience with WordPress Theme & Plugin Development and Responsive Design Excellent HTML, CSS programming skills Knowledge of server admin panels (Plesk, Cpanel) Experience of migrating sites to new servers and from testing environments to live ones Experience in using .htaccess files and its rules Advanced PHP Programming Skills Basic Jquery & Javascript Skills Adobe Photoshop (Advanced), UI Development experience Create and maintain MySQL & SQL databases Understanding of search engines Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred: Flash, Ajax, Plesk Experience with different CMS, such as Magento etc Adobe illustrator

Main Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the design, layout and coding of websites. Set up and adapt CMS to meet business requirements (WordPress, Magento, etc) Adhere to the highest design quality standards Monitor the website’s performance and identify any technical problems Turn client brief into actionable plan and provide accurate price quotes Create wireframes and design mock-ups for new pitches Discuss technical requirements with clients and provide innovative solutions Work on various projects including proprietary software Maintain a high awareness of industry’s issues and trends Work both independently and in conjunction with other developers Total design and implementation of product interface for expanding markets
