The Role

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Driver and Branch Sales Assistant for our Livingstone branch.

In this key role you will be reporting directly to the Assistant Branch Manager (*or Branch Supervisor if no ABM) You will predominately driving a delivery vehicle and assist inhouse as and when required your principal accountabilities will include; being responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a Company vehicle and assist in providing an effective delivery and collection service to the customers or branches as necessary. You will make sure that the vehicle is loaded correctly, the supporting paperwork is carried and ensure that at all times the vehicle is driven and maintained to the standards laid down by the Road Transport / Traffic Legislation and Company instructions.

Working on your own initiative, but recognising the importance of being a team member, your role is crucial to our commitment to a high quality service to our customers. In addition to holding an appropriate driving licence, you may have had previous experience in the operation of hi-ab equipment and the transport of hazardous cargo. However training will be provided in these areas.

Duties will also inlcude supporting the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager with achieving and exceeding sales targets at optimum margins, to ensure we maintain high standards, creating and maintaining a loyal customer base and providing a first class service. Assisting with the general duties within the branch such as serving customers on the trade counter, telesales and ensuring the housekeeping standards are maintained both on the trade counter and warehouse.

• Instils trust and confidence
• Is committed to delivering an outstanding level of service
• One Full Year clean driving licence held is essential
