Job Description
Total Lindsey Oil Refinery (TLOR) are looking for safety focused, self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals, who have a proactive and flexible approach to work, to join our Business Teams.

A comprehensive remuneration package is offered for this positionwhich will initially be on a 3 year Fixed Term Contract basis with the potential for a permanent role depending on performance
Job description
· Monitors plant and equipment at regular intervals
· Operates plant and equipment to meet the production program in accordance with standards and procedures.
· Manual handling of chemicals ensuring correct storage and off-loading.
· Reports faults/damage to plant and equipment during plant inspections
· Prepares equipment for maintenance to include SIOPE
· Performs minor maintenance works
· Participates in plant and equipment start up / shutdowns
· To be involved in the continuous improvement program for operational excellence.
· When qualified contribute to the training and development of trainees or other operators.

Candidate profile
· An aptitude for mechanical, numerical and verbal reasoning (nb. candidates will complete aptitude tests for these skills).
· A technical trade or operational experience.
· Have good computer skills and an aptitude for learning and using new technologies.
· Good communication skills both oral and written to work effectively in a team environment.
· An understanding of safe systems of working.
· GCSE educated
· NVQ in Process Operations.
· Knowledge of process plant and equipment
