Job Environment and Context
Almost 1 Billion people in the world lack of access to affordable and reliable sources of energy.
Total Access to Energy Solutions (TATES) commercializes off-grid solar solutions for the individual, families and communities: our products range from solar lamps and home systems to solar street lights and solarized kiosks. These products are distributed through different channels, such as Total petrol stations (with a strong focus on the African continent), local distributors, humanitarian actors and private companies engaging in CSR programs around access to energy.
TATES' mission is a social one (our ambition is to impact 25 Million by 2025 with our products), with a focus on financial sustainability.
Objectives, Missions and Tasks
· Identify Strategic Partners for TATES (International NGOs, UN Agencies, social enterprises, private companies)
· Develop strong relationships with those institutions through participation in strategic Humanitarian Aid & Development conferences and exhibitions to promote TATES’ value proposition
· Increase TATES’ visibility in the humanitarian ecosystem by attending conferences, workshops, virtual round tables with different actors (Smart Communities Coalition, Tent Partnerships for Refugees, …)
· Scanning for tender opportunities on specialized websites and platforms
· Process tender documentation and liaise with the competent internal stakeholders to build up TATES’ offer for these tenders (coordinating with Head of Strategic partnerships, Sales, Sourcing, Supply & Logistics, Legal, Compliance, …)
· Assist Total M&S affiliates in preparing bids for local tenders
· Follow up incubation projects implemented with some of our partners Your knowledge of access to energy market, ecosystem and dynamics, Sales development, Logistics; will be developped during and after this mission
