Job Description
We have an immediate need for a contractor to join our team in Revenue Accounting. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting and a CPA with E&P Revenue experience working in SAP and OGSYS.
Non-operated properties
- Coordinate Production information flow with Reservoir department; Confirm NRI and BTU factors used to calculate SEC Net Production.
- Liaison between TEP USA, Trading entities (TGPNA and ATMI), & Operators for royalty & severance tax data transfers & invoices
- Monitor Operator Gas Balancing reports/status and coordinate gas make-up as needed with Operator;
Monthly Reporting
- Review production volumes, sales volumes, pricing, severance tax, oil stock variation, transportation exp, and marketing fees for YTD actual and PDC reporting (including the monthly Revenue accrual process)
- Maintain Production Variance Reporting
- Maintain SOX controls and reporting related to revenue and production accounting and ensure SOX VEN & PRO are followed and adequately documented
- Timely reporting of production volumes to Property Accounting for use in DD&A calculations
- Review of regulatory filing for ONRR form 2014 including Royalty Relief balance & issues
- completion of Hyperion data for sales, production, and pricing data; Monitor accuracy of Hyperion reports.
- Ensure data needed for Galaxy is timely and accurate (Production Volumes & Sales Revenues associated data).
- Ensure adherence to Group guidelines for revenue accounting
Quarterly Reporting: Review quarterly inter-company reconciliations of Revenue Sales & A/R
Yearly Budget/Forecasts: Assist the preparation of Production/Revenue/Pricing/Severance Tax/Oil Stock variation sections of the annual budget/forecast process

Candidate profile
Minimum Education: BBA in Accounting, CPA preferred
Minimum Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in oil and gas upstream revenue accounting required.
Required Skills / Certifications: Understanding of federal ONRR reporting regulations. Excellent analytical & communication skills required. Computer skills should include proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word). SAP required, OGSYS, Hyperion knowledge is a plus.
