Job Description
We are offering a 6 months internship for someone who intends to be involved in a challenging environment.
· Focus on the physical traders’ books in order to identify all hidden optionalities they have within their physical supply/offtake contracts.
· Implement a pricing tool destined to traders in order to help them follow and hedge these optionalities.
· Participate in the education of physical traders on the usage of more complex derivatives contracts in order to hedge these optionalities. Several daily tasks are also to be considered:
· Elaborate and price structures meeting the clients’ needs and analyse along with the trading floor the model risks associated with these structures.
· Provide technical and modelling support to the trading floor.
· Take part in the team’s daily work (studies, bug fixes)

Candidate profile
This internship ifs for Engineering/Economy and finance students in the final year of their master degree.
The qualities required are:
· Programming skills (Python, VBA).
· Good analysis skills and ability to present complex problems in a precise and concise way.
· Previous experience on a trading floor or in the commodities market is a plus.
· Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
· Ability to work under pressure, in emergency and doing multi-task altogether. Only university sponsored internships will be considered. Due to work permit restrictions in Switzerland only Swiss and European Union applications will be accepted.
