In Antwerp, Total has one of the most efficient integrated platforms for refining and petrochemicals. Total Raffinaderij Antwerpen (TRA) is one of the most modern and diversified refineries in Europe and the largest in Belgium.

The Group is currently looking for a Junior Process Engineer (m/f/x) for the Antwerp Platform.

Your tasks:
- You will carry out the routine monitoring and simple troubleshooting of your process units.
- You will give advice on process aspects of units supported. You will realize TRA engagements for budget, yields and throughputs.
- As a Junior Process Engineer you will follow up production units and formulate proposals to improve capacity, yields and efficiency in co-operation with your coach, the Process Engineering Team Leader.
-You will participate in safety and environmental improvement programs and follow up advanced control and optimization efforts.
- In this position you will analyze test-runs and determine bottlenecks. You will also be in charge of monitoring of the accuracy of the refinery units process models.
Therefore, you will participate in the Process Engineering & Technical Support assignments in line with yearly objectives. You will evaluate the day-to-day problems and troubleshoot less critical problems.
- You will acquire strong technological expertise and provide good documentation on problems and solutions.

Candidate profile

- You are a Chemical Engineer , with 0 to 3 years’ experience in process engineering.
- You like to work on an independent basis as well as in a team .
- You like to work in a collegial atmosphere and like to take initiatives .
- You speak Dutch and English . A good knowledge of French is a plus.
