Job Description
Join the Finance team in this exciting challenge of Inventory & Result Analyst!
Product Accounting
· Your activities will include ensuring the integrity of inventory balances, and reviewing inventory reconciliations performed by business – Physical to Harmonie.
· Analyzing the results related to inventory movements & valuations.
· Performing the roll forward and monthly mass balance (volume analysis) of main fuels and crude to ensure accuracy, ensuring that they contain no unexplained differences.
· Obtaining explanations for volume or value variances between Harmonie and 3 rd party reconciliations and reporting on exposures items relating to the 3 rd Party Reconciliations.
· Performing Quarterly Provision adjustments, alingned with 3 rd Party exposures.
· Performing the monthly FIFO and PRC calculation adjustments.
· Conducting monthly gains & losses analysis.
· Suggesting improvements to processes, control measures and procedures to improve accounting for oil transactions.
· Maintaining constant business interaction, questioning of oil flows, root cause analysis and remedies for problem areas. HSEQ
· Ensuring confidentiality of information
· Ensuring compliance to the Group’s HSEQ standards

Candidate profile
· You have a Degree inCost & Management Accounting or Financial Management
· 3 to 6 years relevant business experience is essential
· Good knowledge of oil industry would be an added advantage
· Knowledge of IFRS, SAP and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) system
· Key competencies include analytical ability and attention to detail, time management, planning and organising skills, ability to work under pressure, good interpersonal skills, and questioning attitude
· English is the working language
