Job Description

·  Ensuring that the depot is proactive, up to date and complies with Health, Safety & Environmental legislation according to TOTAL updated policies and standards
·  Increasing Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality awareness to workers with training techniques and coaching on TOTAL GOLDEN RULES including toolbox talks and Health, Safety and Environmental inductions.
·  Be sure that all our critical safety equipment is tested and working and raise a report to depot manager in case of any malfunction of one of them
·  Ensure that the Environmental Safety Register is complete and up to date
·  Participating in the maintaining of quality management systems to be in compliance with ONE MAESTRO from TOTAL
·  Check all safety devices inside the depot and he is responsible about working with optimum conditions (as explosimeter, fire hoses, fire boxes, extinguisher, safety detectors…etc.)
·  Responsible for the complete check of trucks and be sure that it is safe to load the product
·  Communicate and follow with RT team for the rejected truck
·  Be sure that everybody inside the depot wearing the appropriate PPEs related to the task performed
·  Participate with HSEQ and engineering dep. In the preparation of preventive action plan for any high-risk job done in the depot
·  Responsible for issuing and renew the work permits and to do the daily pre-job site meeting with all contractors who will do, resume the works in the site
·  Follow the outside contractors and be sure that they follow all required safety precautions according to agreed prevention plan
·  Assuring that all visitors are following the safety instructions
·  Safety tour every shift and report any deviation or near misses if any
·  Modify the emergency plan (if required) and send to Depot Manager for review and approval
·  Recording any accident and make the required analysis and investigation by CUASE TREE ANALYSIS and raise the lesson learned to be shared with all staff inside depot
·  Monthly Safety meeting for all workers
·  Review the medicines and safety aids and check their availability and validity
·  Be sure that any chemicals inside the depot have its related MSDS and be sure that the MSDS is conducted to the concerned parties
·  Reporting the near misses on the RAMSES and make the statistics required

·  Is able to identify risky situations within the context of one's activity and warns the relevant services
·  Knows about and contributes to the implementation of various procedures, methods, safety instructions, prevention plans and emergency plans, guaranteeing hygiene within his entity
·  Applies the legislation and rules in terms of hygiene
·  Carries out auditing assignments and informs his hierarchy about them
·  Makes sure that the MOI/Group HSEQ procedures are complied with   
·  Follows up the implementation of corrective/preventive actions
·  Is familiar with the adequate behavior to be adopted in case of incident (first level intervention mainly)
·   Assists in containing the incident
