Job Description

We have a new opportunity for a Head of Propositions, who will workwith the Sales and Commercial Directors to set, communicate and drive execution of the strategy in respect of propositions, ensuring that it reflects company strategy and market needs.  The Head of Propositions will carry out market and competitor analysis and ensure that the propositions roadmap anticipates and responds to trends, keeping TGP remains at the forefront of product innovation.

The role includes, but is not limited to:
·  Own the end-to-end development process for new standard and bespoke propositions, in response to customer needs and in line with the company’s strategy, development of tactical customer offers to drive growth in target market segments.
·  Lead and coordinate business ownership of terms and conditions for all propositions
·  Act as a proposition evangelist to build awareness and understanding across the business
·  Ensure internal teams and partners have knowledge of the specifics & key aspects of all propositions
·  Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on new and existing propositions
·  Lead performance reviews of propositions and products  to ensure they deliver business objectives, meet the target customers’ needs and fulfil regulatory requirements
·  Provide leadership and guidance to direct report and any project staff assigned.

Candidate profile

·  Interest and awareness in emerging technologies and trends. Including demand side response, solar, batteries and electric vehicle charging
·  The ability to think strategically challenge the status quo and evaluate new markets and opportunities 
·  5+ years’ experience in a proposition development and 5+ years’ experience in strategic commercial roles with a proven track record of developing new market segments and delivering innovative solutions to customers
·  5+ years’ experience influencing decision making at leadership team/board level in delivery of new propositions
·  Analytical and problem solving skills with a strong commercial grasp of energy markets
·  Experienced at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
·  First class communication skills
·  2+ years leadership experience leading a team of product and/or proposition managers
·  Adaptable, inclusive leader, working at a senior level across the organization to make sure that plansturn into delivery.
