Job Description

An exciting opportunity to see the world as part of Total Exploration and Production (E&P) team has arisen for engineers. No previous experience is required. Our E&P team is active in 42 countries across the globe and current opportunities offer attractive, permanent contracts in various international locations.

As a Drilling and Wells Engineer, you will join the Drilling and Wells Cadet program and your first year will be spent on training, both for theoretical classes and “hands on” exposure on Drilling and Wells activities.

You will then be assigned on-site, on a rotation basis, to first get familiar with the operations and the equipment used, and then to supervise Drilling & Wells operations:
·  Be a leader in all HSE aspects of the operations, manage and strive for an incident free environment
·  Implement drilling, completion, workover or interventions program in line with our referential
·  Manage service companies on site and coordinate activities
·  Report the operational outcome and liaise permanently with the base
·  Be part of the Drilling Improvement Process in order to improve our operational efficiency.
After some time on site, you will also have the possibility to apply for a position on a resident basis, in an affiliate as well as in Headquarters with the following duties:
·  Carry out drilling, completion and workover engineering studies (design the well architecture, prepare well completion & subsea & well intervention program….)
·  Support ongoing drilling, completion and workover projects in the subsidiaries
·  Prepare technical documents, and participate in meetings/presentations with authorities and partners
·  Follow up project planning and ensure that technical procedures and referential are followed
·  Be part of the daily operations follow up (cost, performance ..) and propose improvements,
·  Participate in goods and services calls for tenders, writing technical specifications and evaluating technical proposals.

Candidate profile

·  A strong will to work in an international and multicultural environment, in challenging conditions with a lot of mobility, on a technical and operational position.

·  Engineering school/MSc in general engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or industrial engineering, with possibly a petroleum engineering degree.

·  Fluent English, possibly French.
