Total Solar is looking to hire a full-time employee to manage technical operations for Commercial & Industrialsolarin the Philippines. As the portfolio grows in size, the Development and Project Manager responsibility will entail building a solid technical team to conduct the activities below on a large portfolio of projects in a safe, industrialized and customer-focused manner.
The Development and Project Manager will have the following responsibilities, in support to business development:
· Conduct site visits to assess technical constraints and evaluate project feasibility and potential risks.
· Liaise with engineering resources to optimize the commercial offers in terms of PV system performance, technical solution costs, robustness and quality.
· Prepare and follow-up local approvals and regulatory obligations.
· Liaise with HQ technical services to maintain and continuously improve local technical specifications for rooftop solar systems.
· Select and on-board suppliers including EPCs and engineering consultants, in full respect of HSE, Quality and compliance guidelines and specifications. Support commercial negotiations and maintain relationships with installers and suppliers.
· Manage projects construction with focus on safety, quality, budget and planning.
· Supervise commissioning and testing of the plant, then support operation and maintenance, in line with set contractual objectives. The position will be based in Manila and the scope of activities will extend to other areas of the Philippines as necessary.

Desired profile
Profil recherché
· Min. 5 years of project management experience on with at least 3 years of experience with rooftop solar projects.
· University degree in engineering required. Graduate degree and/or related professional qualifications considered a plus.
· Experience with maintaining minimum functional specification, commissioning checklists, and standard operating practices for rooftop solar projects.
· Working experience with Philippines electrical norms, renewable energy regulations, and construction codes desired.
· Knowledge of project management, engineering and solar specific software such MS Project, AutoCAD, PVSyst, Meteonorm, SolarGIS, Helioscope, Sketchup, etc.
