What you’ll do
It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:
- Responsible for providing reporting, data and analytics for allocated Operations function to enable data led insights and decision making. This position is also empowered to determine and recommend opportunities on cost savings initiatives.
- Identifies and develops reports and dashboards in the areas of vendor performance, store readiness, trade compliance and more, to assist in enhancing understanding of data points
- Present outcomes from analysis, by utilizing storytelling to share insights to divers stakeholders and decision makers to make the key insights accessible to support decision making for run the business activities as well as special initiatives and projects
- Articulates findings to management through the use of reports and presentations
- Collaborates with Analysts, Operations team to review insights and adapt solutions for continuous improvement based on changing business needs for planning, optimization and growth such as Scenario Modelling, Forecasting, Activity Actuals, Month End Reports, Operating Reports, Rolling Plan Data
- Leverages data & analytics expertise to identify, investigate and reconcile gaps or errors in large data sets and resolve to ensure completeness and accuracy by extracting and managing data sets appropriately
- Works with Finance to ensure that date required for financial reporting is provided accurately on a timely basis
What you’ll need
To begin your career with us, we require the following:
- Minimum two to three (2-3) years of experience in quantitative analysis required
- Minimum four (4) years’ experience in logistics, transportation, and supply chain
- Strong data analytics applications experience, experience with Data modelling tools – Power BI, Cognos, Tableau an asset. Advanced Excel knowledge
- Excellent business analytics skills with ability to interpret and articulate complex data findings at a high level to appropriate business partners and assimilate / present data to Senior Management
- Strong communication skills to effectively express logistics challenges and opportunities to non-logistics functions
Salary Range: $73,190 - $102,410/year
This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
