What You’ll Do:
Responsible for managing and supporting projects while ensuring alignment to internal program management standards and organization goals. This role involves both hands on project management and governance responsibilities, providing project success through planning and execution.
Leads projects of medium complexity through the project management lifecycle, including defining project scope, objectives, milestones, establishing interdependencies, and deliverables in partnership with the identified Business Lead.
Accountable for identifying project roadblocks and partnering with Business Leaders, subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop solutions or mitigate risks; escalates to Business Lead and Executive Steering Committee when required to ensure project objectives are delivered on-time, on-budget with minimal disruption to the business.
Partners with project teams to guide multiple, concurrent tasks and accurately assess priorities of assigned activities; ensures integration of all related dependencies and manages resources responsible for project delivery and documentation.
Responsible for timely and effective project communications, organizes and leads regular cross functional progress meetings with project team and other relevant stakeholders; prepares and presents regular progress updates to Executive Steering Committees.
Acts as a liaison with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure effective communication across all areas.
Monitors and reports on project status, identifying any potential risks or issues and escalating them to Project /Program Manager(s); supports Project/Program Managers with high impact or strategic initiatives by managing project dependencies and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with standards and methodologies for project management for TJX Canada.
Support and promote internal best practices and stay updated with the latest project management tools, methodologies, best practices, mentors and trains others with project management methodology.
About You:
A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in Project Management or Business Process Improvement.
A post-secondary education in Business, Project Management, Operations Management or related field.
Strong project management skills including structured project methodology (i.e., Waterfall, Agile), ensuring a strategic approach and application of principles of project control; PMP certification is considered an asset.
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and direct a workgroup; strong people management skills (coaching, providing guidance, resolving issues and providing feedback).
Good analytical skills including the ability to investigates issues or discrepancies and prepare responses for anticipated questions; understands the needs of the audience when presenting information.
Demonstrated influencing and decision-making skills; understands how and when to apply alternative approaches and flex relationship styles; fosters high levels of trust and teamwork throughout the organization at all levels.
Good organizational development skills including change management, time management; ability to implement and manage details, prioritize, multi-task and sometimes work under time pressure; ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong presentation, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; bilingualism is an asset.
Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office Suite including Power Point, Excel, Word, SharePoint; experience with related data manipulation, data visualization, or project management software.

The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
