The Global Logistics Solution Delivery organization develops the software and systems that keep freight moving to support TJX’s growing global business. Our team thrives on strong partnerships with our business counterparts and works diligently to deliver technology solutions that enhance operational stability and enable continued growth.

The Senior Project Analyst is a key member of the Delivery organization and provides advanced financial planning support, portfolio insights, and Agile delivery coordination with minimal oversight. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this role produces executive ready analysis and influences stakeholders across business, technology, and service provider teams.

In this position, you will work closely with the Release Train Engineer (RTE) to plan and coordinate activities supporting large epics and initiatives that span multiple product teams and shared services organizations. You will play a critical role in aligning delivery plans, financial forecasts, and portfolio reporting to ensure seamless execution across complex, multi team efforts.

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Support and execute IT Financial Planning activities with limited guidance.

• Perform portfolio planning, including Epic‑level and capacity‑based labor forecasting.

• Monitor and analyze forecast‑to‑actual variances to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.

• Conduct research and resolve issues related to team financials.

• Oversee contracts to ensure alignment with budgetary and delivery requirements.

Agile Delivery Support

• Lead and facilitate a variety of Agile ceremonies and events.

• Resolve team and workstream‑level escalations promptly and effectively.

• Partner with and influence service providers to drive delivery outcomes and ensure operational excellence.

Portfolio Reporting & Insights

• Compile, analyze, and synthesize data to prepare portfolio‑level readouts.

• Deliver clear, concise, and professional presentations to leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.

• Proactively engage across Delivery teams, providing insights and recommendations that support decision‑making.

Operational & Team Support

• Provide general support across planning, reporting, governance, and delivery operations.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and all company standards.

• Demonstrate a strong growth mindset and continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, tools, and capabilities.

• Perform additional duties and special assignments as required.

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of IT financial planning, portfolio processes, and forecasting methodologies.

• Ability to independently lead and deliver assigned activities with minimal supervision.

• Skilled in resolving escalations using sound analytical judgment and deep domain knowledge.

• Demonstrates strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.

• Capable of influencing service providers, business partners, and leadership.

• Exhibits a desire for continuous improvement and skill growth in Agile delivery and financial analysis.

• Advanced proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and presentation creation

Minimum Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience  

• 3–5 years of experience in IT governance, architecture support, project coordination, or related functions  

• Experience supporting governance bodies

• Familiarity with SAFe Agile and enterprise-level delivery frameworks  

• Strong analytical skills, with experience synthesizing data into meaningful reporting 

Tools Experience

• Advanced proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and presentation creation
