Job Description:

Who We are

At TJX, the Delivery Agility Enablement (DAE) Team helps technology teams improve delivery flow by identifying bottlenecks and enabling consistent, effective ways of working through Agile practices, standardized tooling, and proven delivery patterns.

As a Senior Product Owner on the DAE team, you will play a key role in enabling teams across IT by supporting the delivery and ongoing evolution of TJX’s Atlassian ecosystem, including Jira Cloud, Jira Align, and Confluence. This role is highly collaborative and execution‑focused, partnering closely with Product Management, Agile leaders, and technology teams to ensure solutions are well‑defined, prioritized, and delivered in a way that drives adoption and measurable business outcomes.

This is an individual contributor role ideal for a Product Owner with strong Agile delivery experience and hands‑on Atlassian expertise who is ready to operate at a senior level without owning enterprise product strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and manage the team‑level product backlog, including story creation, refinement, prioritization, and acceptance criteria definition
  • Translate defined product vision, objectives, and roadmap items into clear, actionable user stories aligned to business and delivery goals
  • Lead backlog grooming sessions and collaborate with delivery teams to ensure work is well‑understood, sized, and ready for execution
  • Partner closely with Product Management to understand customer needs, priorities, and intended outcomes
  • Stay informed on Atlassian product updates and releases, partnering with platform and vendor management teams to evaluate and adopt new functionality as appropriate
  • Support sprint planning by reviewing and prioritizing user stories to help teams achieve iteration goals
  • Document product features, workflows, and enhancements in Jira and Confluence, ensuring clarity and traceability
  • Identify and communicate dependencies, risks, and scope tradeoffs related to Atlassian enhancements and delivery timelines
  • Work with IT and business partners to support testing, release readiness, and post‑implementation support models
  • Contribute to adoption and enablement efforts by helping teams effectively use Jira, Jira Align, and Confluence in alignment with established standards
  • Continuously track and communicate outcomes, feedback, and improvement opportunities

Successful candidates will have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Senior Product Owner in a technology environment
  • Hands‑on experience working with Jira Cloud, Jira Align, and Confluence in support of Agile delivery teams
  • Solid understanding of Agile principles and frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and how they are applied in practice
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories
  • Experience working in a collaborative, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and organization skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs
  • Comfort operating with influence rather than formal authority

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
  • Experience configuring Atlassian workflows, boards, and reporting (within established guardrails)
  • Experience supporting SaaS or third‑party applications in an enterprise environment
