Senior Project Management Specialist

The Senior Project Management Specialist leads the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of high-impact chain-wide projects and programs within the Loss Prevention organization to support shrink reduction goals. This role partners closely with senior leadership to define project vision, scope, and success metrics, while ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities. Responsibilities include managing project portfolios, driving process improvements, and facilitating communication across stakeholders. This position will drive execution of projects that mitigate shrink, reduce damaged merchandise, reduce safety and risk liability, drive profitable sales & production, and support the expansion and growth of the HomeGoods/Homesense organization.
Who We Are Looking For: You.
- Leads the identification, prioritization, and execution of strategic projects and initiatives aligned with business and shortage reduction goals
- Partners with leadership to define project scope, timelines, resources, and success criteria
- Develops and manages comprehensive project plans using project management tools; supervises execution and ensures timely delivery
- Monitors project performance, proactively addressing risks, budget variances, and compliance issues
- Analyzes and improves processes, reporting, and workflows to enhance operational efficiency
- Facilitates executive-level presentations and decision-making forums
- Leads post-project reviews and integrates lessons learned into future initiatives
- Provides insight and support on cross-functional committees and enterprise initiatives requiring Loss Prevention involvement
- Prepares and delivers regular reporting on project status, forecasts, and outcomes
- Resolves complex issues and raises critical decisions as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3-5 years progressive experience in Retail, preferably off-price, with experience in operations, marketing, loss prevention, customer service, and/or project management
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and presentation skills with executive presence
- Solid ability to influence across all levels of the organization
- Expertise in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, MS Lists, Smartsheet)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to employ prior experience and adapt quickly to the changing work environment
- Ability to make effective decisions, revise business strategies that support the vision of the organization and drive projects to completion
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
This position is hybrid requiring at least two days per week in the Framingham, MA office and is not open to remote.
