THE ROLE  

Join TJX Europe as a Senior HR Business Partner! Based at our Stoke Processing Centre, with regular visits to other operations and our forever home and Head Office in Watford. Partnering with stakeholders from Senior Director to Manager level, you'll drive cultural change, talent succession and be a key player in identifying and achieving our goals and priorities. 

As a true Business Partner, you'll deliver HR strategies through coaching, supporting, and challenging your partners. You’ll help shape the strategy and success of TJX Europe’s dynamic and fast-paced Distribution function.

WHAT YOU’LL DO  

  • Drive the people and talent agenda, identifying gaps, planning long term resolutions and ensuring alignment with HR plans, business strategy and culture. 

  • Support organizational change and continuous improvement. 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to anticipate and address relevant changes. 

  • Coach, advice and consult with departmental and functional Heads, and HR Centres of Expertise, to future plan activities, and create strategies to meet required people needs of a department or the function  

  • Provide expert HR advice and support at all levels. 

  • Work with high levels of complexity while always providing the appropriate HR support; communicating with stakeholders at all levels within the business on a wide range of complex matters and strategic initiatives  

  • Lead teams to deliver business development and change. 

  • Offer HR guidance on employee relations, performance management, engagement, legal compliance, and more. 

  • Interpret and share policies and procedures to fit departmental needs. 

  • Manage complex employee relations cases and ensure fairness and consistency. 

Leadership: 

  • Model inclusive leadership and new ways of working. 

  • Develop the HR team and create succession plans. 

  • Coach and mentor junior HR colleagues. 

  • Share strategies and best practices within the HR team. 

  • Support manager development and talent planning. 

  • Develop future leaders through effective coaching. 

Talent Management: 

  • Develop and drive the people agenda in line with business strategy. 

  • Manage the annual talent cycle and succession planning. 

  • Partner with senior management to deliver the talent agenda. 

  • Monitor headcount planning and support succession planning . 

HR Department Responsibilities: 

  • Implement the HR strategy and manage relationships with HR Centres of Expertise. 

  • Identify critical HR metrics to measure business success. 

  • Lead HR projects to support TJX goals and priorities. 

  • Manage complex employee relations cases and provide support to managers.

  • Tenacious, resilient, committed, and reliable. 

  • Professional representation of the company and HR function. 

  • Extensive HR knowledge, ideally CIPD qualified or equivalent.
