Senior Global Continuous Improvement Specialist
What you’ll do
Global Continuous Improvement delivers value across the TJX organization through the execution of initiatives strategically aligned with the TJX Business Priorities and leveraging Continuous Improvement, Program Management, and Intelligent Automation - coupled with Associate coaching - all of which serve to strengthen the TJX operational capabilities for the future.

  • This position is responsible for participating in projects across TJX with the objective of improving operational efficiencies, identifying opportunities, reducing costs and risks using Lean Six Sigma methodology and Intelligent Automation Solutions
  • Supports Process Optimization workshops is knowledgeable in the Agile Scrum methodology, Jira and Product Manager/Owner roles. Supports the Intelligent Automation and Robotic Process Automation journey at TJX. Supports the creation of Intelligent Automation and Robotic Process Automation Value case documentation
  • Responsible for supporting research that identifies improvement opportunities, including identifying, testing and developing and implementing sustainable improvement strategies to improve productivity and efficiencies that supports current and future business needs
  • Participate in process improvement projects, leveraging Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodology, including scoping, defining, prioritizing projects, identifying project metrics, developing control plans to ensure project delivers gains that are continuous and sustainable with results that are measurable and validated developing pilot plans as needed
  • Utilize multiple sources of information to develop well-structured business recommendations preparing and maintaining detailed development plans for projects; determine project specifications; understand and apply principles of project control; and knowledge of and ability to use project reporting systems

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree (in Operations Management, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Math, Statistics or another technical major preferred) and/or 3-5 equivalent years of experience working with Intelligent Automation and Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience with Agile methodology.  Agile, Safe, PMP, PMP or Prince2 certification an advantage 
  • Experience developing with low code tools/technologies which enable intelligent automation solutions such as Microsoft Power Platform, Blue Prism, ServiceNow, Uipath, etc.
  • Experience creating Power BI dashboards for data visualizations
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC methodology; LSS Green and/or Yellow belt training preferred
  • Project management skills including structured project methodologies (i.e. determining needs, researching existing programs, etc.)
  • Good analytical and critical thinking skills and demonstrated problem solving skills to provide solutions; ability to adapt quickly to the changing work environment to make effective decisions.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills; ability to read, write and interpret information accurately
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI; VBA and SharePoint knowledge/experience an asset; ability to analyze and interpret data using statistical software such as Minitab

This position has a starting salary range of $83,100.00 to $106,000.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive.
