We’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about turning data into actionable insights that drive profitability and growth.
About the Role
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll lead gross margin reporting, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic and operational objectives. You’ll partner across functions, influence senior stakeholders, and champion continuous improvement through innovation and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Forecasting
Manage gross profit components
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting profitability
Lead rolling forecasts and long-range planning
Build models to support strategic decisions and provide analytical support for initiatives
Reporting & Compliance
Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for TJX Australia, TJX Corporate, and external audit requirements
Ensure compliance with audit and risk frameworks
Handle ad hoc requests from Managers as required
Business Partnering & Communication
Act as a trusted advisor, influencing decisions through clear insights
Build strong cross-functional relationships and mentor team members
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Drive efficiency through automation, RPA, and advanced analytics
Challenge existing practices and implement sustainable improvements
What We’re Looking For:
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Analytics with business planning/partnering experience
Strong financial modelling and data analysis skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power Apps, including Power BI
Growth mindset with passion for innovation, automation, and emerging tech (RPA, AI)
Ability to influence decisions and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
Experience with programming or systems (BluePrism, Python, SQL, Oracle, QlikView, APTOS, EE POS, Oracle Cloud)
