Senior Entry & Audit Specialist

This role is an amazing opportunity to join TJX’s inclusive US Divisions Trade Compliance group and become familiar with our business model, internal systems, and support import operations and compliance for a wide range of retail products.

The Sr. Entry & Audit Specialist supports the management of US Customs and other government agency entry clearance operations. This opportunity will also support auditing and corrective action activities, collaborating with Finance, Logistics, and many other internal departments. You will be actively involved in driving continuous improvement in processes and systems to optimize efficiency and ensure compliance.

Position is currently hybrid out of our Marlborough, MA office with the opportunity to be fully remote.

Entry Operations Responsibilities

  • Supports and oversees entry operations via Customs broker management, reporting & analytics, and partnership with TJX’s logistics and transportation groups, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for CBP, FDA, Fish & Wildlife, and other partner government agencies (PGAs)
  • Responsible for daily Customs Broker support and oversight, including supervising performance to meet critical metrics, fielding inquiries, and exception management activities
  • Updates, maintains, and publishes process documentation and technical guidance
  • Provides training and mentoring to colleagues in entry operations, logistics, and other areas of Trade Compliance

Audit / Post Entry Responsibilities

  • Performs a wide range of customs entry audits to support the Trade Compliance audit strategy, including broker compliance and accuracy, valuation, classification, ADD/CVD, and SOX compliance
  • Analyzes audit results for root cause and corrective action to ensure accuracy in entry filings and drive continuous improvement in upstream processes
  • Prepares Post Entry filings, updates internal systems to ensure import clearance accuracy and completeness, and supports recordkeeping
  • Manages TJX’s valuation reconciliation program
  • Supports CTPAT Trade Compliance program

Who We Are Looking For: You.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • U.S. Customs Broker License required
  • 3-5 years of import Trade / Customs Compliance or Customs Brokerage experience required
  • Understanding of import regulations and overall Customs/PGA entry process required
  • Customs brokerage experience strongly preferred
  • International freight forwarder experience a plus
  • Supply chain experience in retail preferred
  • Familiarity with Descartes trade compliance software a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Advanced MS Excel skills

This position has a starting salary range of $83,100.00 to $106,000.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive.
