Senior Engineer (Performance) - Merchandise Operations Management (MOM) Team

The Merchandise Operations Management Delivery team is responsible for modernization of Global Merchandise Financial systems, as well as our Pricing and Clearance Management systems. We achieve these goals by implementing off-the-shelf solutions (Oracle Retail), which drive the ability to support key finance processes and markdown strategies. Our business customers rely on the accuracy and integrity of the solutions we provide to manage our merchandise, pay our vendors correctly and in a timely fashion and ultimately report accurate data to Wall Street.

Our team consists of over 80 Associates located across the globe, with plans to increase it now through expansion in our India office. Expanding TJX's presence in India will bring knowledge and expertise, local leadership and decision making, enabling us to deliver the right work, at the right time, in the right way. Over the next 12 months, our Indian presence will be the largest representation of the team in any global geography.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and scripting performance test cases using in-depth technical analysis and execution of tests and recording of results in the form of test reports
• Collaborate with Product, SRE, Dev and QA to develop and execute the most optimal set of tests/business flows to ensure applications will perform well
• Analyzing the volumes, Identifying the performance issues, testing the scalability of the application
• Ability to understand the work environment and competing priorities in conjunction with developing/meeting project goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Engineering skillset
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools with good technical background
• Ability to handle end-to-end performance Testing life cycle by reviewing and analysis of Non-Functional requirements and specifications
• Experience with Performance testing tools - NeoLoad and Load Runner.
• Experience with monitoring tools – Splunk is a must
• Experience with application server monitoring tools - AppDynamics preferred or any other tools
• Experience with all types of Performance Testing, related monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Experience with Oracle SQL
• Excellent documentation and knowledge-sharing skills
• Good communication skills and teamwork focus mindset
• Shows a positive, open-minded and can-do attitude
